Hard Boiled

Before “bullet-time” and before “John Wick” there was “gun-fu” by John Woo.

And boy did Mr. Woo know how to make one of the most insanely bloody, blow up everything and everybody, unreal climatic shootout scenes in a hospital, action and crime drama movies ever made.

Chow Yun-Fat was quite the star in Hong Kong action films. And especially in this movie, which I finally got to see in a theater for the first time thanks to a limited re-release, he’s absolutely classic.

This movie is cult-classic status for me and for anyone who like action films.
